Blog Grader Tool. Does it Have Value?

Hubspot is on a roll lately with all sorts of grader tools for webs, twitter and social media accounts, and now blogs.  As this blog is just getting launched today I thought it would be fun to start here and watch the variation is scores over time.

This is a new tool for me and I’m not too sure what its value is, but since it’s interesting we’ll play along.  We begin here with an outstanding score of “17″.

In fact this number rings a little bell with me and is a little curious.  Just yesterday I ran several blog scoring tests on various sites and I found one that also scored a “17″. That particular result was for a mis-typed domain name that actually did not even exist! So is 17 a sort of scoring floor? Hummm?

Well, FWIW, I’ll be back and look at this after a few days.

Once someone bookmarks this post or links back to it, and as more content is added, well chack back for a quick grade.

One comment I have is that the grader results do not give very much info about thnigs one could do to improve the score. Maybe if you give hubspot money the reports gains value. Ahhhh.

Take your domain/url for a spin and see what it thinks of your blog.  My early results have been interesting, quirky, and sometimes way off base.
